| I changed out my DD's rusty hardware for stainless 5 years ago and not a single corrosion problem to report, road salt in winter and all. I suppose you could switch out to zinc-plated or aluminum hardware if you're worried about dissimilar metals corroding on contact. I'm presonally more worried about the stock hardware rusting and spreading, based on what I've observed. Good luck to you either way, rust sucks ass.
